Rainbow Dreams

Relax in a soothing world of rainbow and let your creativity flow. Sometimes these rainbow wisps will move shyly away from you and other times they can't bear to let you go.. it's all up to you.

I wanted to learn how to recreate physics in a virtual space. I designed the particles to feel alive, like an ecosystem that would respond to your mouse with different gravitational pulls and pushes.

PROJECT DETAILS

This was one of my first solo projects. I nearly flipped head over heels with joy when I found out we needed Vector math. I was excited to see how different vector acceleration formulas translated into such beautiful visuals. This project really allowed me to express myself and merge my passions - Art, Math, Physics.

PROCESSING AS A GAME ENGINE

I love programming in Processing because it has so little features, and so much space for learning programming. (Thank you Shiffman for the tutorial videos!) What I learnt here really helped me later on when I attempted to re-write Unity's gravity in a later project.
